Ingredients
1 medium sized Cauliflower cooked Half pint of crème fraiche 2 oz of strong cheddar cheese grated Left over bread crumbs Garlic clove crushed or finely chopped (optional) 1 Tbsp of olive oil |
Method
1) Break up the cauliflower florets and boil in a saucepan of water for 15 minutes 2) Drain and place in an oven proof dish 3) Put the crème fraiche into a saucepan with the grated cheese on a low heat and stir until the cheese is full melted 4) Fry the breadcrumbs and garlic (optional) in a frying pan until golden brown 5) Pour the cheese sauce over the cauliflower 6) Sprinkle on the breadcrumbs and garlic Tips: This dish can be put back in the oven for extra browning if required and can be made in advance and reheated in the oven. |
