FRUIT CRUMBLE

Preparation time 10 mins
Cooking time 25 mins
For 6 people
Ingredients 
450g/1lb defrosted or fresh fruit
e.g. strawberries, raspberries, blackberries or stewed apple, plums, rhubarb etc. with sugar to taste
8oz/240g plain flour
½ cup/ 4 oz/ 110g butter
3/4 cup/ 3½ oz/ 100g soft brown sugar
2oz/60g of Oats

Method
1) Preheat the oven to 190C, 375F, Gas mark 5 and grease an ovenproof dish

2) Heat the fruit in a pan until soften add sugar to taste

3) Place in an oven proof dish

4) Cut up the butter into cubes add it to the four and brown sugar

5) Rub the mixture together until it resembles breadcrumbs
Add the oats to the mixture and place over the fruit in the dish

6) Bake for 25 minutes

7) Serve with cream or custard
